
Close up – Shows small part of the scene and a big part of the characters face.

Big Close Up – A tighter shot where it almost ‘suffocates’ the frame.

Extreme Close up – The object is shown very large; most commonly, a small object or part of a body.

Medium Close Up – Half way between a mid shot and a close up.

Extreme Long Shot- Shows a lot of landscape.

Aerial Shot – A camera shot that is filmed from an air plane or a Helicopter.
Point Of View Shot – Point of view shot shows what the character sees.

Over The Shoulder Shot – Shot taken from over the shoulder of a character whose back can be seen of the side of the frame.
